The house we live in is full of holes our animals have left

And my job's late again with their checks, this fucking bullshit never ends
We'll do the same damn thing again next week, but that's alright with me

So I hope next time I get to step off a cliff, I hope I get to step with you

It's just you and me and this big, bright, new city
The corridors we'll walk at night and the great food we will eat
And maybe if we're lucky, the dog won't tear out his fur
